# Sites & accounts

Add and remove sites and social accounts; article publishing setup; how to set up a WordPress application password.

"Sites & accounts" at the bottom of the sidebar connects the sites and social accounts this project runs. Adding, signing in and publishing setup happen here; the numbers are in Social media and Site traffic. Other sites in your account don't show up until you add them.

Each site and account has a small card with its status (connected, login expired, publishing broken, publishing set up, not set up…). Click one to see its details below.

Adding

"Add site or account":

- **Websites**: a Creght site (search and pick from your creght account) or a WordPress site;
- **Social accounts**: X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Bilibili, Zhihu. A browser window opens for you to sign in (Douyin, Bilibili and Zhihu use a QR code in their app). The login stays on this computer.

Creght sites

You get site traffic, site checks, AI search, article publishing, inquiries, Google rankings and change reviews. "View traffic" on the card opens Site traffic. Under "Article publishing", the first time click "Let AI set up publishing": the AI reads the site's article fields (and builds a blog if there isn't one), writes the mapping and test-publishes. Once set up, article site versions publish directly. If it says "Needs setup again", click "Let AI set up publishing" again; to change a working setup, click "Set up again".

WordPress sites

Fill in three things when adding:

1. **Site URL**, e.g. https://example.com;
2. **Username**: the one you sign in to WordPress with, allowed to publish posts (Author or above);
3. **Application password**: in WordPress, Users → Profile, scroll to Application Passwords, give it a name (e.g. Annulo), create it and copy the generated password. It isn't your login password, and you can revoke it there any time.

Click "Verify and add": the application password is saved as a local secret on this computer, the back office keeps only the username and the secret's name, and it connects once to confirm it can publish. Later, "Check connection"; if the password stops working or you revoked it, "Update application password". On a new computer you enter it again. "Receive form inquiries" holds the Webhook address for your form plugin; see "Inquiries".

WordPress sites support site checks, AI search, article publishing, form inquiries and GA4 traffic. **Not available**: site traffic stats and the "Google rankings" tab of the Google rankings page. There's no preview environment, so the assistant's site changes go live immediately; it asks before each one.

Social accounts

The card shows sign-in status and last collection, with "Profile", "Collect now", "Sign in again", "View data" and the publishing self-test (see "Social media"). If the account is added but its platform isn't set up in this project yet, it shows as not set up; click "Set up … with the assistant" (with the platform's name) to have the assistant add it.

Removing

"Remove" on the card, then confirm. This only stops running it here; the site or account itself isn't affected, and you can add it back later.
