# What's in a project

Pages, tables, local functions, schedules, tasks and notes: all files in the project folder.

A project is a folder on this computer (under `~/.annulo/backends/`). Everything the assistant builds lands here, and you can open and edit it yourself.

| Path | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| `pages/` | Back-office pages (React), rendered by Annulo on your computer; saving refreshes them |
| `tables/<table>.json` | Table declarations: fields and descriptions. Declare it and you can read and write it |
| `local/*.ts` | Local functions: deterministic, repeatable logic that buttons and schedules call directly, without the model |
| `schedules/<id>.json` | Schedules: run a local function on time, or hand a job to the assistant |
| `tasks/<id>.md` | Jobs for the assistant (like "write the weekly report"); a button starts a background chat to do it |
| `prompts/<id>.md` | How a task should write (structure, tone, length); your edits from the page go to `user/prompts/` |
| `skills/<name>/SKILL.md` | Instructions for the assistant |
| `ANNULO.md` | The project's overview, added to every new chat |
| `annulo.json` | Project manifest: plugins, required Annulo capability version, assistant panel intro |
| `plugins/<id>/` | Plugins installed in the project |
| `user/` | Your own customizations; template and plugin upgrades never touch it |

Where the data lives

- **Offline projects** (default): on this computer ( `~/.annulo/workspaces/<project>/data.db`), outside the project folder;
- **Online projects** (creght connected): in your creght account, on any computer.

Change history

The project folder is a git repository. Every round of the assistant's changes is committed automatically, so you can always see what changed and go back. Just tell the assistant "undo the last change".
